Bhushan Kumar’s Baby will be his first non-musical film

After romance, fantasy, revenge thriller and sci-fi, T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar is venturing out into action thriller for the first time with Baby starring Akshay Kumar. With the upcoming film Baby, Bhushan Kumar collaborates with the Special 26 jodi ‘Neeraj Pandey – Akshay Kumar’ for the first time.

This the very first time that T-Series has ventured into film which is not high on music but more on content and on the lines of patriotism. All their previous films like Aashiqui 2, Yaariyan have had phenomenal music and songs which have been chart busters. When Neeraj Pandey did the story narration Bhushan was so impressed by the script, the action sequences and power packed story, he made up his mind that this project has to be backed by him. The film was chosen purely based on its hard hitting storyline and the powerful combination of Neeraj Pandey and Akshay Kumar who has given a stellar performance as seen in the trailer which was recently released

Bhushan, confident on his first project without songs, says, “It’s always good to try out different things, we have done romantic films which were high on music recall, but when I heard the script of Baby which was action from start to end, there was no need of songs. The day I heard the narration, I knew I was to come on board as the producer. The combination of Neeraj and Akshay is a bonus to the script and the talented ensemble cast. The fast paced action sequences and twists and thrills will keep the audience on the edge of their seats.”

Gulshan Kumar presents Baby, a Neeraj Pandey Film, Crouching Tiger and Friday Filmworks Production, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shital Bhatia, Cape of Good Films & Crouching Tiger releasing on January 23, 2015.
